  1. 1Navigate to the /register page.
  2. 2Enter your email address and choose a strong password.
  3. 3Select the plan that fits your needs (you can upgrade at any time).

Go to the Accounts Page

In the left sidebar, click "Accounts" near the bottom. This is where you manage all your connected broker accounts.

The Accounts page shows all your connected accounts along with their stats — total trades, win rate, and net P&L. Each account is isolated, so your data stays organized per broker or per prop firm challenge.

You can have multiple accounts connected simultaneously. Use the account selector in the sidebar to filter your dashboard, statistics, and calendar by account.

3

Add Your First Account

Click the "Add Account" button in the top-right corner. A setup wizard will open — choose how you want to connect.

Tradiary supports three methods for adding an account:

Broker Sync
Connect via API or OAuth for automatic trade syncing
CSV Import
Upload a CSV export from your broker platform
Manual
Log trades manually without any broker connection

Don't see your broker? You can still import trades manually or via CSV. We're continuously adding new broker integrations.

5

Enter Your Broker Credentials

Each broker requires different credentials. Enter them in the fields provided by the wizard.

Rithmic— Username + Password + Server

Use your Rithmic login (same as R|Trader). Select your server/prop firm from the dropdown.

Tradovate— OAuth or Username + Password

OAuth is recommended — click Connect and log in via Tradovate's own login page.

Interactive Brokers— Flex Web Service Token

Generate a Flex Query in TWS/Client Portal and paste the Token + Query ID.

TradeLocker— Email + Password + Server

Use your TradeLocker account credentials and the server URL of your broker.

Charles Schwab— OAuth

Click Connect — you'll be redirected to Schwab's authorization page.

cTrader— OAuth

Click Connect — you'll be redirected to cTrader's authorization page.

MetaTrader 4/5— Login + Password + Server

Use your MT4/MT5 account number, investor or main password, and the broker's server address.

Never share your broker credentials with anyone. Tradiary stores credentials encrypted and uses them only to pull trade data — we never execute trades on your behalf.

6

Test the Connection

After entering your credentials, click Test Connection. Tradiary will verify your credentials and discover available accounts.

A successful test will show a green confirmation with the list of accounts found on your broker. Select the account you want to import and click Continue.

If the test fails, double-check your credentials. Common issues:

  • Typo in username or password
  • Wrong server selected (Rithmic / MetaTrader)
  • Account not yet activated by your broker
  • Firewall blocking the connection — try from a different network

7

Sync Your Trades

Once connected, click Sync to pull your trade history. Tradiary will import all available fills and organize them into completed trades.

After the initial sync, you can re-sync at any time from the Accounts page using the Sync button on your account card. New trades (fills) since the last sync will be imported.

The sync result shows how many new trades were imported. Duplicate trades are automatically skipped.

Syncing only imports completed trades (paired entries and exits). Open positions are not included until they are closed.

Futures Risk Disclosure: Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing one's financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.

CFTC Hypothetical Performance Disclosure: Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading.
